Celebrating Community Spirit

At Vaultra Storage, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This past weekend, we had the pleasure of being part of the third-annual Valleywood Block Party, and what an incredible experience it was! Held on August 24 at the vibrant Lina Marino Park, the event was a resounding success, filled with fun, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness.

The Valleywood Block Party has quickly become a cherished tradition, and this year’s event was bigger and better than ever before. With the support of the community, the block party also served as a fundraiser for Bethell Hospice, a local non-profit that provides compassionate care for those in need. We were honored to support such a worthy cause and thrilled to see the innovative ways funds were raised, including a dunk tank featuring special guests like local councillors and even Mayor Annette Groves!

The event had something for everyone—food trucks, artisan markets, community partner stations, and a kids’ zone with bouncy castles and soccer games. The excitement continued with a magic show, dance performances, and a live DJ keeping the energy high throughout the day. The grand finale was a spectacular foam party on the soccer field, where kids ran and danced through the foam, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

It was heartwarming to witness the growth of the Valleywood Block Party since its inception, a testament to the tight-knit and vibrant community of Valleywood. The smiles on everyone’s faces, the laughter, and the shared moments of joy were a beautiful reminder of the importance of coming together as a community.

We at Vaultra Storage are incredibly proud to have been part of this special event and to contribute to the sense of community that makes Valleywood such a wonderful place to live. We look forward to continuing our support for future events and seeing the Valleywood Block Party grow even bigger next year.
