A Day to Remember: Vaultra Storage Welland Grand Opening

This past Saturday, we proudly celebrated the Grand Opening of Vaultra Storage Welland, and what a day it was! With local leaders, community partners, and residents all coming together, the event was filled with celebration, connection, and meaningful support for youth in our region.

We were honoured to welcome two distinguished guests:

Fred Davies, Member of Provincial Parliament
Councillor David McLeod, City of Welland

Both toured the new facility and shared thoughtful words about the positive impact of Vaultra’s growth in the Welland community. Their presence reinforced our commitment to being a proud, community-driven Canadian business.

Special Guests & Community Support

In the spirit of giving back, we partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara as our official charity partner. Together, we raised awareness and funds to support local youth mentorship programs that are creating brighter futures in Niagara.

Raffle Fundraiser Highlights

One of the most exciting moments of the day was our TV Hunt raffle fundraiser, designed to raise money for BBBSN:

Guests made a $5 donation to receive a ticket and a chance to open a storage unit filled with prizes
The lucky grand prize winner walked away with a 65″ Smart TV
Dozens of others won amazing prizes, from gift baskets to tech gadgets
Best of all, Vaultra matched all funds raised, doubling the total donation to BBBSN and doubling the impact

Ribbon Cutting & Festivities

The day kicked off with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by:

A special cake cutting to mark the occasion
Speeches from MPP Fred Davies and Councillor David McLeod, recognizing Vaultra’s positive role in the local economy
Guided tours of our secure, modern, and affordable storage facility
Sweet treats, free giveaways, and great conversations with tenants, partners, and new faces from the Welland community
