Promotional Terms

Applicability: These terms and conditions apply to promotional offers provided by various Vaultra Storage locations.

Customer Agreement: By participating in any of the promotions offered by Vaultra Storage, customers agree to abide by these Terms.

Promotional Price Terms: Promotional prices are valid only for the specific promotional period selected at the time of booking (e.g., “4 weeks free” or “50% off 12 weeks”). After the promotional period ends, customers will be billed every 4 weeks at the regular unit rate, as listed on the date of reservation.

Examples:

“4 Weeks Free” – Receive 4 weeks free when you prepay for your first 4 weeks. Regular rental rate applies every 4 weeks starting on week 9.
“50% Off 4 Weeks” – 50% discount applies to the first 4-week billing cycle for the first two weeks of rental. Regular rental rate applies starting on week 5.
“50% Off 8 Weeks” – 50% discount applies for 8 weeks (2 billing cycles). Regular rate applies on week 9.
“50% Off 12 Weeks” – 50% discount applies for 12 weeks (3 billing cycles). Regular rate applies on week 13.

Please note: Promotions may be location and unit-specific, and availability may vary. Customers are encouraged to check with their local Vaultra Storage facility to confirm which promotions apply to their selected unit and location.

Promotions do not extend beyond their stated duration and do not impact the ongoing billing rate unless explicitly stated. More than one promotion cannot be used simultaneously with the exception of moving and packings supply discounts and offers. Only one promotion per new customer. All final decisions regarding promotions and pricing at each facility are made at the discretion of the area managers.

50% Off + 4 Weeks Free

Effective Location: Vaultra Storage Hamilton

This promotion provides 50% off storage fees for a period of 4, 8, or 12 weeks, depending on the selected offer.
To qualify, customers must prepay the full amount for the applicable portion of the discounted term (e.g., for 50% off 8 weeks, the customer prepays for 4 weeks).
Upon completion of the initial promotional period, the customer becomes eligible for an additional 4 weeks free.
The additional free period will be applied to the account through a secondary promotion.
This offer expires on August 31, 2025, and is subject to availability.

Promotion Validity & Selection: Promotions are time-limited and may have specific start and end dates. Promotions vary by location and may apply to select units only. Some sites may offer multiple promotions on different units. Customers may select only one promotional offer per rental. To ensure the promotion applies to your desired unit, please speak directly with Vaultra Storage staff at your location. All promotional offers outlined here apply to self-storage rentals only and cannot be applied to our Moving & Storage Bundle packages.

Location Specific Promotional Exclusivity: Some promotions apply exclusively to specific locations.

Automatic Application: In some cases, promotional benefits like free four weeks are automatically applied upon fulfilling certain criteria (e.g., sign-up for 8 weeks or more, with payment for non-discounted weeks obtained).

Onsite Promotions: Locations may offer different promotions when customers visit the physical site.

Conditions for New Customers: Some promotions may have specific conditions that apply to new customers or are only applicable to said persons.

Admin Fee: A one-time $20 administration fee and an $18.99 lock fee are added to the cost of your unit. Some locations may waive the administration fee as a special benefit.

No Cancellation Fee: No cancellation fee applicable to cancelled reservations or prior to move in.

Prohibited Items: To ensure the safety of everyone, specific items cannot be stored in our units. Click here to learn more.

Price Match: Valid only for units of the exact same size and features. The competing quote must also come from a Self-Storage provider within a 5-kilometer radius of select Vaultra Locations. Available for new customers only, subject to availability.

Refer + Earn: Eligible for new customers only. Bonus amount: $100 for larger units (10×10 and larger), $50 for smaller units. Referral bonus payment is contingent on 8 weeks of rental by referred customer. Stacked Lockers, Max Value Lockers, Student Storage Lockers, & Mailbox Units (5.5×5.4) not applicable.

Moving & Storage Bundle Discounts and Availability: Promotions apply to specific units, are subject to availability, and cannot be combined with other offers. Discounts are available for both move-in and move-out fees, and advanced booking is required for all promotions. Please note that our item plan doesn’t have insurance cover. Customers may request a confirmation letter for plan cancellations. This document, bearing our company name, serves to affirm the cessation of recurring credit card charges and can be delivered automatically via email or upon customer request.

The following terms and conditions apply to Vaultra Storage’s complimentary Moving on Storage Rentals

Eligibility:
- The free moving service is available only for customers moving into a Vaultra Storage unit at Vaultra Brampton, Vaultra Brampton-Vaughan (Hwy 50) and Vaultra Markham locations.
- This offer is valid on storage units of all sizes.
Minimum Stay Requirement:
- A minimum 16 week stay is required to qualify for this service.
Availability:
- The moving service is subject to availability. Vaultra Storage reserves the right to provide the service based on the schedule, staffing, and resources available.
Move-In Only:
- The complimentary moving service is offered for the initial move-in to the storage unit only. Additional moves or relocations will be subject to regular service rates.
Scheduling:
- Once eligibility is confirmed, our team will work with you to arrange a convenient moving date. Please note that scheduling is based on a first-come, first-served basis and may require flexibility to accommodate demand.
Service Area:
- The free moving service may be limited to specific geographical areas. Customers are encouraged to confirm eligibility for their location with their Vaultra Storage representative.
Service Limitations:
- Vaultra Storage reserves the right to refuse or limit the service in cases where the move includes items prohibited by our storage policies, unsafe or hazardous materials, or items that exceed standard weight or size limits.
Changes to Terms:
- Vaultra Storage may amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes that may impact their reservation.

Student Saver Bundle:

Eligibility:
- This promotion is available to new customers who purchase our student saver bundle.
- Rate of $35.00 CDN
  - This offer applies to standard 5×5 units at either Vaultra Storage Markham or Vaultra Storage Brampton locations.
- Rate of $75.00 CDN
  - This offer applies to standard 5×10 units at either Vaultra Storage Markham or Vaultra Storage Brampton locations.
- Valid student ID required at time of payment.
- Note 5×5.4 units are not applicable to this promotion.
- Not applicable with any other promotions or offers
- Offer ends April 30th, 2025
Minimum Rental Period:
- To qualify for the promotion, customers must commit to a minimum rental period of 16 consecutive weeks.
- Fees are not waived for phone inquiries.
Return of items
- Return of items fee based on size of unit, starting at $125 CDN. No cancellation or administration fee for all online reservations.
Payment Terms:
- Upfront payment for storage unit & moving to be made at the time of booking.
- Additional fees may apply for optional services such as insurance, packing materials, or special handling.

Package Holding Terms and Conditions

By using Vaultra’s Mailbox Units and service, customers agree to the following terms and conditions:

Service Scope
Vaultra Self Storage offers limited package holding services, which include the acceptance and secure storage of eligible packages under the conditions outlined herein.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each individual package must weigh less than 10 pounds (4.5 kg) and be no larger than a banker’s box or document storage box.
- Packages may be stored in a secure Vaultra storage locker by staff for a maximum period of five (5) business days from the date of delivery.
Notification
Customers will be notified of package arrival via the email address and/or telephone number on file. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure contact information remains current and accurate.
Access and Handling
If a customer provides advance consent and access (e.g., locker key or code), Vaultra staff may transfer packages into the designated locker on behalf of the Customer. This service is performed solely at the Customer’s risk and discretion.
Prohibited Items
All packages must comply with Vaultra’s house rules and prohibited items policy, which prohibits the storage or delivery of any illegal, hazardous, perishable, flammable, or otherwise restricted materials. Any package in violation will be refused, returned to sender, or reported to the appropriate authorities.
Liability Disclaimer
Vaultra does not accept liability for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged packages under any circumstances. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that all risk associated with shipping, delivery, and storage of packages remains solely with the Customer and/or the courier.
Refusal of Service
Vaultra reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse any package or suspend this service at any time, with or without prior notice.
Amendments
Vaultra reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of this service following any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Protection Plan Waiver, Max Value Lockers, & Student Savers

Eligibility:

The option to waive the protection plan is available exclusively for Max Value Lockers and Student Savers.
This waiver option is not applicable to any other unit types.

Process:

Online Payment: Customers who complete their rental with an online payment will receive a credit on the subsequent invoice for total cost of the $14.95 plus applicable taxes.
Online Reservation: For customers reserving online, any protection plan added during the reservation process will automatically be removed from the final invoice when completing rentals with a Vaultra representative.

Conditions:

Credits from waived protection plans will be applied to the next billing cycle and cannot be converted to cash or transferred.
This offer is only applicable on Max Value Lockers, and Student Savers while quantity last.
Protection plan for a Max Value Lockers, and/or Student Saver unit cannot be combined with existing protection plan for larger units for existing customers.
Vaultra Storage is not liable for any lost or damaged packages delivered to the facility.
Customer must sign a Protection Plan Exemption Form to be eligible to waive the protection plan
